There are the elongated columns of bones at the spinal column, which the thoracic ribs support. The thoracic ribs push the bones in the length and join with the spinal column in various areas. Joints connect with these ribs.
Osteoarthritis in medical terms is defined as a metabolically dysfunction of the bones. This can further cause osteoporosis to set in and intensify risks of fractures.
The joints mentioned above, often wear and tear. This wearing and tearing of joints makes them weaker and so dysfunctional thus causing osteoarthritis.
