Taking Good Care Of Your Child's Teeth 0

Posted on March 07, 2009 by admin

Healthy teeth are important for everyone, but most of the time, carelessness and over use of sweets spoil child’s teeth. Spoiled teeth at childhood may cause many other problems, as they impact the child’s overall health, so it’s necessary to take very good care of child’s teeth as well as train them to continue this care process at their own.

Very young children, i.e. those who just got teeth development and or those whose teeth are under the process of development, clean their teeth with a soft, clean cloth or baby’s toothbrush. And once they row enough to handle a tooth brush keep a check on the following

  • Let your child brush teeth with a fluoride toothpaste
  • Provide them with healthy foods and limit sweet snacks and drinks, so that they develop the concept of healthy diet from very childhood.
  • Provide them with low-fat milk and dairy products, and make sure that they have high calcium diet. Calcium helps them have healthy and strong teeth.
  • Schedule regular dental check-ups

Having all these set up once will lessen the future tension for you as well as your children.
