Exercise helps maintaining a healthy body and healthy mind for almost all ages, and if you’re suffering from a certain condition whereby you need to be active in any case, then exercise is a must.
Researches have shown that doing mild aerobic exercise, pilates or yoga is good for hypertension, and you can control your blood pressure level easily then. Exercise helps controlling blood pressure in a way that it first takes the heart beat rate up mildly, this increases oxygen in your body and lowers blood pressure.
This is not that difficult, instead you can do this by having deep breath anytime, i.e. while watching TV, sitting in the office etc. Practice breathing methodically, and deal best with hypertension and stress.

Cholesterol is never good for you, and many people spend a lot of time and money to control the cholesterol level. Some natural ways can be more effective, as there’s no side effect in this case. Here’s a list of few natural ways to lower the cholesterol level:
- Exercise regularly, and lose some weight.
- It’s not necessary to do heavy exercise, instead a 20 to 30 minutes exercise in alternate days can work better to control the cholesterol level.
- Avoid diet that contains high level of cholesterol, i.e. meats etc.
- Include more and more vegetables in your diet.
- Use healthy oils only, i.e. olive oil.
- Reduce fat intake as well, i.e. cheese and butter etc.
- Use more chicken instead meat.
- Green tea is said to lower total cholesterol levels, so use it as well.
- Include more and more fiber in diet, i.e. beans, whole grains, and vegetables etc.

Exercise is not specifically advisable for heart patients only but in regular concerns as well. Keeping your body and mind active it helps you to have a lively life. For heart patients it’s a little more crucial.
Exercise helps reducing stress, both physical and mental, strengthens the heart, and conditions, improves the working of lungs and muscles. Being a heart patient, having a regular cardiovascular exercise helps lowering cholesterol. It also increases the blood flow and keeps excess weight away, making you fit and fine.
So, make it a habit, and stay away from heart problems.
