While being sick you may often feel that your appetite got wiped out. Being sick generally, and while having flu and cold specifically kills the appetite.

You may also have to face a force-feeding attitude of attendants at home, as it’s a general opinion that you need energy to recover, and you cant have energy until you eat something. That’s true that you need energy to recover, but force-feeding actually doesn’t help.

56570131Something that helps in real during flu and colds is to stay hydrated. Staying hydrated helps removing fatigue and then the calories intake will work for sure. If  you take juices instead of simple water, that will work best,  as your nutritional requirements can be better met by juices.
