How Are Piles Caused?
Piles or a haemorrhoid is one of the most common ailments today. Piles are a painful, itching mass of distended veins in swollen anal tissue that may protrude out of the anus. A pile is usually related with a bad lifestyle. Prolonged periods of sitting or standing, mental tension etc can also case Piles.
Plies can cause by a junk food diet with too many fried, fatty foods and insufficient hydrating liquids, fiber, and bulk. Piles are also caused due to the weakness of the tissue that connects the anal cushions to the muscle layers underneath. Piles can be internal, inside the anus, or external, and be seen and felt on the outside of the anus.
You can have internal and external piles at the same time. In external piles, there is a lot of pain but not much bleeding. The primary cause of piles is chronic constipation and other bowel disorders. The treatment of piles depends upon the size and the patient’s preferences. Being overweight can be another potential cause of hemorrhoids.
When women become pregnant, there is generally an increased blood flow near the pelvis. And the growing baby also increases the weight near the abdominal area. This may sometimes cause hemorrhoids during pregnancy. Increased straining during bowel movements caused by constipation or diarrhea may lead to hemorrhoids.
