Combination which is also called normal skin is a common skin type with the frustration of having to deal with both dry and oily skin. Combination skin also contain medium pores, a smooth and even texture, good circulation, healthy color, may tend toward dryness on the cheeks while being oily in the t-zone.
If you want proper care, you’ll notice breakouts and oil will reduce drastically. Some of the points for dealing with combination are given below:
- Applying a weekly or bi-weekly mask is a great additional skin care step.
- Apply a well-formulate liquid or gel at least once per day Wash your face with a gentle, water-soluble cleanser that does not leave skin feeling tight or dry.
- Products that contain alpha hydroxy acids will help to normalize the skin by removing dead skin cells.
- Keeping a combination skin healthy is by the use of skin toner but try to use an alcohol-free toner. Alcohol-based toners will definitely dry your skin and cause the oily areas to produce even more oil.
- If oily areas become too shiny during the day, use oil-blotting papers to absorb the excess shine then touch up with a lightweight, sheer pressed powder, applied with a brush.
