Factors That Trigger The Migraine Attack

There are several factors accelerating or triggering the migraine attack. Some of these are as follows:

  • Disturbance in sleep-wake cycle
  • Missing a meal
  • Delaying a meal
  • Some specific foods
  • Frequent consumption of medications for headache
  • Exposure to bright lights
  • Sunlight and fluorescent lights
  • Watching TV in excess
  • Excessive noise
  • Stress
  • Depression

Some foods that are identified as possibly triggering migraine are:

  • Chocolates
