Ewing’s sarcoma is a very aggressive type of bone cancer. Mostly it occurs in children between the ages of four and fifteen. This type of bone cancer is also common in males, and can rarely be observed in females.
One interesting fact is that it’s rarely seen in people over the age of thirty. Talking specifically about the place of its occurrence, it’s mostly found in the midpoint of the long bones in the arms and legs. In the event that the cancer has not spread to the lungs or other parts of the body, its three year survival rate is approximately sixty five percent.
