Drink More Water To Increase Metabolism

Increased rate of metabolism helps burning extra calories, and you must know that your body needs water to process the calories burning. Lack of water can slower the metabolism rate, if you are even mildly dehydrated after doing some routine work, your metabolism may slow down.

According to studies, adults who drink about eight or more glasses of water a day burn more calories than those who drink less water. To stay hydrated, drink a glass of water or other unsweetened beverage before every meal and snack. In addition, try munching on fresh fruits and vegetables, which are full of fluid, rather than pretzels or chips.
