Cures For Bad Breath

Those who suffer from bad breath may be very much depressed and they are away from the public. Most common cause of bad breath is the odorous waste products volatile sulfur compounds created by anaerobic oral bacteria. Bad breath is the common name for the medical condition known as halitosis. Foods and drinks, such as garlic, onions, cheese, and orange juice are the major causes of bad breath. By the use of soda, smoking and other tobacco use can also cause bad breath.

There are very simple cures from which we can control our bad breath. Brushing your teeth twice a day and flossing daily can prevent you from bad breath. Patients suffering from halitosis should take a well-balanced diet consisting of seeds, nuts, grains, vegetables, and fruits, with emphasis on raw and cooked vegetables, and fruits. All fruit and vegetable juices are beneficial in the treatment of halitosis and should be taken liberally by those suffering from this disorder. Juices from green vegetables are especially valuable.

Stop smoking/chewing tobacco-based products. Avoid foods such as onions or garlic which causes bad breath. Tongue cleaner must be used gently without damaging the taste buds on the tongue; it can also helps us to control our bad breath. Natural and artificial mouth fresheners can reduce the intensity of bad breath. If bad breath is due to any infection suitable antibiotics, anti fungal or anti viral medicines will help.
