There are several causes due to which teeth decoloration occurs. Some of these are given below:
- Chewing tobacco and excessive smoking are the major causes of teeth decoloration.
- Use of certain vegetables and fruits like potatoes and apple can also affect your teeth.
- Excessive use of tea, coffee and colas can cause teeth decoloration.
- Inadequate brushing and certain drugs like tetracycline can stain your teeth.
- An infant enamel (the hard surface of teeth) development can be effected if pregnant mother is suffering from any infection.
- If an adult is suffering from trauma, can also lead to teeth decoloration.
- Age related changes is another factor of teeth decoloration.
