Basic Symptoms Of Chicken Pox

Posted on February 05, 2009 by admin

Chicken pox is basically caused by the varicella virus and its symptoms include fever and itchy rash. The rashes starts with 2-4 days of fever that starts in the face and trunk area and then spreads outwards.

Along with the above mentioned two symptoms, there’s also a sort of body ache and fatigue of varying degrees. Chicken Pox rashes normally become pus filled blisters and then burst and scab over. The rashes typically appear in crops , and can be observed in many different types at different stages.

The above mentioned symptoms and conditions are normal and are observed in children, but in some cases it can be dangerous enough to life threatening level. It is spread by droplets, coughing or sneezing from infected persons, and fluid from chicken pox blisters/rashes. And so, many times, when one child is suffering from chicken pox at home, others are also at stake. And can occur more than once as well.
